Youth Hockey Development Program
KINDERGARTEN HOCKEY LEAGUE - 2007
Description

The Grizzly Kindergarten Hockey League (KHL) is a new and innovative approach to teaching young players ages 4 to 6 years old the great game of hockey. Each session includes ½ hour of fun skill games, and ½ hour of scrimmage. A maximum of 14 players with 2 coaches insure low coach to player ratios, and plenty of individual instruction.

This program includes one KHL ice session and up to 3 additional skate and shoot sessions each week. Each 10 week session ends with a pizza party and trophy presentation. The coaches stress skill development through FUN. Coaches are hand picked for their hockey knowledge and ability to work with kids. Each 10 week session includes a skill progression proven to maximize skill development.

Cost: 10 week session $120 (Includes a KHL Jersey, Pizza Party, and awards)

Sessions

Sessions are the same day and time each week for 10 weeks.

WINTER Tuesday 10:30am (Jan 8th thru Mar 18th, no class Feb break week)
WINTER Wednesday 1:30pm or 5:15pm (Jan 9th thru Mar 19th, non class Feb break week)

The Wednesday session is geared towards players with previous hockey experience.

Note: Players in this KHL program should have basic skating skills and be able to skate without a chair or other skating aide. Full equipment is recommended, but minimum equipment includes: Helmet w/mask, elbow and knee pads, skates, and a stick.
